I must admit to having had a bit of a chuckle when I was leafing through the newspapers and spotted this in the Fermanagh Herald:
Sinn Féin MP MLA for Fermanagh South Tyrone Michelle Gildernew has welcomed the intervention of the Office of the First and deputy First Minister to expand the fuel poverty to ensure that it now includes an additional 36,000 pensioners.
I assumed a journalistic rush to meet deadline for going to print was the reason for this. However, a simple Google search revealed that the mistake had appeared elsewhere- attributed to another Sinn Féin MLA:
Sinn Féin Social Development spokesperson, North Belfast MLA Carál Ní Chuilín has welcomed the intervention of the Office of the First and deputy First Minister to expand the fuel poverty to ensure that it now includes an additional 36,000 pensioners.

SF is repeating the same press release over and over again but strangely by different people - how do they manage to sycronise?
It's called smoke and mirrors - they are fooling some of the people some of the time but not all of us are fooled by the spin
And of course they also get in a sideswipe at Minister Ritchie - if she made the same mess of DSD as the education minister is making of her portfolio then they would have something to carp on about!
